Cameron McGrane’s Indie Resume
Lets talk me then some about you
Nearly all of my paid and non paid “play” comes from my network not a resume so unsure if this page is the way to go but what the heck.
I play to my strengths and encompass throwing ideas around, shaped by solid R&D and generally being “edgy”.
I “have to” include people. The more people the better. Ones company and three is definitely not a crowd when it comes to my world. If people in the crowd don’t like each other I can help them fall in love.
I dig strategy not chess strategy more experimental strategy, like finding an alternative path invisible to the herd. For example, with a game called Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha, I dominated for many weeks with a character called Skullomania who though loathed, had a powerful and complicated finisher that I discovered, mastered and used to dominate. In other words, I like discovering back doors, hidden walls, powerful combinations…. you get it.
Starting stuff. I love a productive, process orientated talk fest with smart individuals alas if it goes too long and becomes too hypothetical I get sweaty itchy palms and just want to start! Nothing turns me on more then starting on a prototype, product improvement, quick win solution by having a crack and learning along the way.
What does all this mean to you? Well if you are into marketing with a sales focus, I can probably help. Most of my lessons were gained from Door to Door sales which I did at 27 to get over my fear of approaching and selling.
I probably won’t knock doors for you but I could help you move product while you sleep just like I do with my business Earjobs.
If you need business software completed start to finish with a technologist who speaks business then pick up the phone. My recent projects (2008) involved custom graphing in excel for a supply chain management consultant, data mining using MS Access for Couch Surfing and a extensible messaging service using .Net for Marble Trend
